It was great. First time going there. We will go back, the food was good and the service was good.

I love the burgers here. A BLT at our table looked very good as well. The large dining area in the back is good for meetings. When it's busy, they could use another restroom-- only have one, had to wait in line.

This is may 15. This restaurant says it closes at 8 but ive called 5 times at 7 to buy me and my child supper but noone answeres.

Best place to eat off I26 at exit 11. Local people,great food, friendly and awesome prices. Traveling thru State but if we lived here it would be our permanent eating place. Thanks to security guard at Welcome Center sending us here.

Always a small town diner feel at this restaurant. The selection is good and served off the grill. At night when it is dark it is sometimes hard to tell they are open but stop in and try anyway. Breakfast is always good as well.

Nice simple place with tasty food. They have good no carb options and the sweet potatoes fries were excellent.

This was my first visit to the Wagon Wheel. It was obviously a local hangout since everyone looked when a stranger entered. It turned out to be a friendly location with tremendous service. The portions were more than ample and the food was delicious. Prices are very reasonable, plenty of room between tables and plenty of parking. Easy on/off access from major roads in the area. I will return when in the area.

Friendly place with great staff and food. I've been going for years for a quick little meal and find myself staying longer because of the comfort.Also, trust me on this one, try the corn nuggets.

Breakfast gravy taste like a flour paste and the coffee hours old - we were there at 6:00am. We have been several times, hoping the cook would be different, but unfortunately it has not. Funny, the waitress can see the food has been barely touched. They never ask if there is anytjing wrong with the food - they must already know....

Food is a pretty solid 4. Maybe a little less for service. I had to flag down for coffee. The sausage was good and omelette was decent. Coffee was about par for a restaurant. Price is cheap if you're trying to save money. It was a friendly and diverse atmosphere that feels distinctly country and small town NC.

Ordered chopped hamburger steak with peppers and onions. Hamburger steak was good with the fried corn cakes. However, the mashed potatoes was from a box and my roll had no color and was dry. Nice service from a small town diner. I will return to try more menu items. Please support our local businesses!

I actually love the food and service, excellent area nearby to my apartment. The workers are always welcoming. Will come back again.

This is a local dining experience. The food was ok and the service was great. There were like 2 people running about 20 tables at one time. The tables in the back ( the only place we ever sat) were sticky but not from being dirty. It was like they used to have a cover over them. The restaurant as a whole was clean and a good temperature. If you like home cooking check it out.

If I could give zero stars I would. First, I’d like to state that I like to eat at locally owned restaurants and support family/local businesses. I will never be returning to this restaurant. I ordered Takeout off of apparently a “years old menu” posted online and when arriving at the restaurant to find my bill was almost $10 more than the prices online the customer service I received was appalling. Now, the food is even worse than the service. I wish they would have given it all to me raw and I could have seasoned it myself because it’s the only way it would have been salvaged. The steak I ordered medium rare was well done, chewy and ultimately inedible. Nothing had any flavor. The roll tasted like it was days old. Spend your money at Papa Nicks or Stackhouse. Definitely avoid this place.

The food is always cooked fresh so it is not exactly fast food that was very well worth the way the staff is always really furnace and helpful the owner is one of the nicest people ever thank you

I go by for breakfast and found it to be clean and the food good and reasonably priced. I get two pieces of country ham when most places only give you one. Friendly service. Took me 25 years to find this place. Good cheeseburgers too.

I'm being generous with a 3, in my opinion. The restaurant itself is clean, if a little dated. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. My husband really liked what he got...a hamburger club, by the way. I ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and squash. If you like mushy breaded meat, instant potatoes (to be fair they may not have been, but they tasted and felt like instant), and the gravy was very bland. Maybe I caught the cook on a bad day, but I'd not recommend that anyone order what I did.

It is a bustling place because the food is great, the atmosphere is even better, the service was awesome, and the prices can't be beat. Just be mindful this is a laid-back diner, filled with local people, lots of smiles, friendly faces, and good people with my conversation.
